re: The Big Pink Bus Has Departed

so i finally got to see this last night and i LOVED it!!!!

Its easily the campest thing since rocky horror. The cast were fantastic, only a couple of times did I think they let themselves down vocally, other than that they were spot on. The costumes were amazing and the buzz around the theatre was electric!!!!

Some of the one liners in that show will live with me forever!!! I cannot wait to go again in May!!!

The only problem I had last night was i was sat in the rear stalls so you couldn't see the diva's much when they were flown in and the tv screens were useless so if you're planning to go my advice is get front stalls or the circle.

But on the whole i loved it!!!! Now I know why Sister Act will have alot to live upto to compete with.

The biscuit was a Monte Carlo in Australia. Twice as uncomfortable.

I wouldn't worry about "Sister Act". I think it's going to be a smasheroo.

re: The Big Pink Bus Has Departed

Gets a roar of a laugh every performance with a little gasp of shock thrown in too.
Wonderful.

re: The Big Pink Bus Has Departed

Joan Collins saw 'Priscilla' this week and supposedly had a ball.
I bet she was bloody envious of Tony Sheldon's wigs compared to some of the monstrosity's she wears most of the time.

re: The Big Pink Bus Has Departed

A cast recordings of shows with an already established score (jukebox) it is a very good one in deed. It has a great way of telling you the story with lead in dialogue before some numbers.
Most of the big numbers capture the party atmosphere of the show itself.

re: The Big Pink Bus Has Departed

is it from the cast in th show or the original artists?
