Hey, has anyone done the Priscilla lottery lately? I'm thinking of doing it this week. I'm guessing it's not too crowded because it's been having pretty lousy business.

Lousy business? It has been over 3/4 of a million dollars every week except its first three 3 weeks of previews. (Last week at nearly 1,000,000 -- not too shabby by most accounts.) It's capacity isn't great, but the Palace is HUGE.

I'm not sure how it would be. I went on a Sunday. It wasn't heavily advertised on the street, but there were losers. You probably would be better off buying a balcony ticket because the front row is too low in comparison to the stage, making some stuff partial view. Can't complain for the price though.

Try for the Sunday Night show...The lottery is definitely lighter, but be there promptly.

The balcony seats are not bad if you get them as "loser seats", though.

We have won lottery seats and had a blast. There were a lot of people for the lottery and we were lucky to have won.

If you never saw the show, don't do the lottery. The front row was a fun perspective but we had seen it already. You miss a lot from the front row.

We saw the 2pm show today and the palace was packed and people were on their feet hooting and cheering at the end. This show is a huge crowd pleaser. Today was my fifth time seeing this show and each time the place was packed and the audience went nuts.

I won the lotto this afternoon (Sunday) -- about half the people won and half the people lost. It's refreshing to have such high odds of winning, especially if you're used to Book of Mormon odds. I imagine it's even easier if you don't try on a weekend.
