Kylie's powers that be didn't approve copyright release of a medley that was written specifically for the show.

Although when Felicia stands on Ayers Rock towards the conclusion of act 2 and sings the aria-esque tune (or rather, lipsynchs) is it actually a reworked and very well orchestrated version of her Confide In Me.

I am guessing however that before it opens in London, Kylie might be a little more willing to have some more of her tracks in the show; considering there is a joke or reference to her every twenty seconds.

It is a very VERY fun show that carries a powerful message - it is just up to you how much you chose to read into it. in that way, i think it was cleverly directed by simon phillips who doesn't force the sex OR the metaphors down your throat - it allows for a broader audience appreciation.

Tony Sheldon IS this show - he is just so delightful and inspiring to watch.

And to whoever said that there was a rumour it was going back to Sydney..it's not a rumour. It has been confirmed and is pending ultimate finalisation based on how many of the cast are keen and free to do another six months in Sydney starting in September. F**king brilliant for an Aussie show to get so much longevity - especially with our hard-to-please audiences!

And the show has had SO many changes since the initial Sydney run, it is almost like seeing a different show entirely. It is running very nicely now.

"...But Kungurtseva reels off multiple fouettes and the tape is stopped so she can take a bow. The Jester, an abomination introduced to Swan Lake in Soviet times, extorts applause from the audience. The cuts don't help the storytelling, the production is bare bones and they go for the '50s-style happy ending. The audience cheers like mad at the end. It's the Russian ballet, after all..."

I have the cast recording ever since it came out and I LOVE IT !! This is a show I am really looking forward to and will gladly make a short trip to London to enjoy it live ! I'm ready to bet it's going to be a HUGE hit, in the league of Mamma Mia, over at the West End !

I thought it was a fun night at the theatre but would have no interest in seeing it again.

The costumes are spectacular though.
