Problem with Dear Evan Hansen lottery

It seems like whenever I got to the lottery website (during normal entry times), it says that the lottery is not available and to come back tomorrow. Has anyone else experienced this? 

I would really love to win someday, but that's impossible if the website isn't working.

If you're talking about today, there is no lottery on Saturdays.

I'm 98% sure they began offering lottery seats to Saturday matinees a few weeks back. 

I had the same issue until I realized that they close their drawing very early. You and enter starting at midnight the night prior to the performance you want to attend, if I'm not mistaken.

Thanks for the information. I got that message today then realized it's Saturday. But I feel like I've gotten that message other days of the week, too, and I do enter early. 

Oh well, hopefully whatever it was resolves itself.

For a short time, there was a Saturday matinee lottery, but not anymore. The ticketing FAQ's on the website have this info.

I definitely put in an entry on a Saturday matinee a few weeks ago, so it must be a new thing.

There is. I entered for both shows. The matinee lottery closed at 9 a.m., the evening closes at 2 p.m.

I've always heard a friend of someone winning but who knows. From instagram I rarely see any lottery winners posting about it which I think is very odd given its a show dealing with social media. I think there are only 3 posts on instagram with #dearevanhansenlottery

I won 2 weeks ago after religiously entering (almost) every day since the lottery became available (6.5 months)? One seat in the box, one seat in the 1st row all the way to the side. Totally worth it!

Were the other people sitting in the box also lottery winners? Im just curious how many lottery ticket seats there are!

I only talked to one other person in the box (he said he waited in the SRO line, those sold out and he somehow ended up with a box seat).  I am not certain, but it did appear that I was the only lottery winner that day.
