Um, unless my eyes were playing tricks on me, I'm pretty sure the first time I read your article you described Carol as "this inimical Broadway personality". Although you now seem to have changed it to "inimitable".

I wasn't nitpicking, just trying to be helpful!

Oh, okay. I know all about poor eyesight. I've had several eye surgeries.

Then, too, your misunderstanding of what was written might be the result of substance abuse. You might want to attend my next lecture on "The Perils of Alcohol". You could benefit from it.

There was no misunderstanding on my part, I am 100 per cent certain that it originally said "inimical". I also know that there is no argument for me to make, because as you are surely the one who changed it to "inimitable", you know the truth too!

Also, I was simply being nice earlier when I said I enjoyed your article a lot...any pleasure I got from it was derived from my interest in Carol Channing, and not from your rather hackneyed writing.

Of course that blooper was intentional, Dollypop clearly doesn't make mistakes.

And while that "blooper" may originally have been intended as humorous which I believe to be the case, Dollypop simply couldn't have people thinking him fallible!

Jay~ FYI,Dolly Pop has an "in" at Fatima with St. Bernadette, so questioning his fallibility is a foul ball.

Speaking of balls ..back to my Phillies with Mr. B and glass of Pinot Grigio. (3-0 Phillies, yay!).

BTW, doesn't Ms. Channing look pretty good for 90?
