Ahh, Namo, you're already making me wish I could go more than once before I've even seen it!

I am considering going to the second show on the Saturday I see it. After the first show!! That would be crazy, right? But then again, if the cast can do it twice...
One of the clues that they might be looking to do the run more open ended is the ticket price. In Boston they were much cheaper, but it was a co-production of the non-profit ART. The prices for NYC would appear to be a longer term sustainable business model.
Hmm, good point. If they ran into the summer, I might be able to return after I finish school.
If you want to, you should -- so what if it's crazy?
When are you seeing it? I'm going March 24.
But, Namo, will they sign between performances????

I don't want to be a spoiler, but there is nowhere for the actors to come out!!!! I think they're actually ghosts!
They probably just live there.

i took a tour of the space wherethe show is going to be and it is AMAZING. I wrote an article about this show featuring a video of Diane Paulus giving her take on the piece, as well as a number of promo shots for it. Sooo excited!

Okay peeps! You know I've been singing the praises of the Boston Sleep No More for over a year now. And tonight Sleep No More New York City is opening its doors to the paying public for the first time. After this, if the Boston production is any indication, tickets will sell out quickly.
Like Gothamist says:
It's not cheap (tickets cost $75 each) but you'll get your money's worth; the show has the potential to last three hours, depending on how long you decide stay.... Considering how much people pay for soulless Broadway schlock, $75 doesn't seem so unreasonable for a rare experience like this. It will sell out, so buy soon.

I have a ticket for late March. I am going by myself, and I am so excited by the unconventional nature of this production. Has anyone thought about volunteering to be a steward (applications for employment and stewardship are on the website)?
Namo, they ought to pay you a commission. Your posts here have piqued my interest and I bought a ticket for later in March!

I know, RIGHT!? I know. I can hardly contain my antici-
Wonk, a friend of mine was a steward a few times in Boston. That's something you'd want to do after you've seen it at least once. One night after my friend worked the show he came back and said the buzz was that Shakira was going to be there that night. He said he wasn't sure, but he definitely saw a tiny lady with that famous big butt, but neither of us could figure why she would come to Boston to see the show.
Not long after she announced she was working with the Punchdrunk directors on her "interactive" "Garden of Earthly Delights" tour.
But as jrb can attest, there is little that can hold a candle to their own productions, I'd imagine.
I just realized I have blood in my hair.
And I can't shut my damn brain off to go to sleep.
Aptly named show!
Details please

Details are spoilers pretty much. Just imagine living in a dream state inspired by the worlds of MacBeth and Alfred Hitchcock.
Having helped out for over 2 months for Masque of the REd Death here in London. I can tell you stewarding for Punchdrunk shows are often more enjoyable than being an audience. Of course, after you've seen the show at least once. The audience reactions... and the difference in performance every single night.
I cannot wait to come over to watch the show in NYC late March! Booked the show twice, I might go stewart as well! God... it is so exciting!

How does one ask to steward? And is that a one-night thing?
here u go: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2HVH8Y5
saw the show tonight. i dont think i need to even say it but it was by far one of the most interesting experiences of my life. i loved every single second of it. i'm going back 4 more times already and i cant wait. if you dont have tickets yet, or are debating on whether or not to go, stop debating. get them. now. before they sell out. you dont want to miss this!
side note: does anyone have a list of the cast members?

I'm glad people are loving it; I thought you would.
In Boston they handed out cast lists as people were leaving, but only through the main exit.
OK so I'm sold but the tkt page seems strange. Checking the available performances there are ones w a little i beside them they are supposed to be for people who purchase a package but there is NO page to purchase a package! ( it it a really nice package?)
The only mid week show avail in my time range seems to be the thurs 24th 7:40 show. The wkend has only really late night performances and chicken sh!t that I am do I want to be trying to get a cab at 4am on 27th between 10th & 11th? ( also it would kill the rest of that day for my trip)

I have no idea about that stuff. Packages and the like. If you go in at 7:40, it just means two groups have been admitted before you. The cycle will still end at 10.
The late shows will all be over at 2 am. So that won't be QUITE as bad.
Like I said, the packagey thing just was odd.
i went w the Thrs show any way. ( sounds a lot like "Tamara" done here in TO and latter NY tho obviously on a much bigger scale)

I just saw it tonight and you're actually almost better going by yourself. It really is immersive theater and the last thing you want to do is spend your time trying to find friends or be held back by friends. So yeah, well worth the trip to go it alone!! Don't miss this piece of BRILLIANCE!!

And, by the way, after seeing it, I'm not entirely sure which actor was MacBeth!! It became less important to figure those questions out, than to just experience it. If I was able to pinpoint it, I probably would have wanted to follow Lady MacB as much as possible, but since I wasn't positive which one she was, I just bagged that idea and just let it unfold. (ok, so I did end up following two of the really hot younger guys. The one who did the acrobatics all over the suitcase room, I'd have followed all night if I could have... Such a little hottie!!) (anyone know who he was or what he played?)
