I ordered seats on line a few days before seeing the show and they were excellent. We sat on the right side, row B, seats 238 & 240. At first, looking at the seating chart I was worried not having a center view of the stage but trust me, it doesn't matter since the theater is so small and for the fact that all the performers play to the entire audience. Given the choice I'd choose the first few rows on the sides rather than the center from midway to the back. However I would recommend the right side versus the left since some of the funniest lines are delivered by the two adults sitting at the desk stage right.
lapine has done a marvelous job of staging the show so that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. circle in the square is an ideal theatre for this show and they're doing so wonderful there. even the standing room is great views! i had a lottery ticket for the front row so that was great. good luck!
Yeah, I "sat" standing room only (I actually did sit on the carpet) and it was great viewing. James Lapine's staging plays to every seat in the house, making anywhere in the theatre great seating. Go see it! It's marvelous!
