I just picked up the CD today (don't really care for some of the new orchestrations, but that's another story). I just had a quick question about it.
What is the story behind "Learn Your Lessons Well (After Hours)"? It's the last bonus track on the CD. Was it something done by some of the cast as a cabaret thing? Or them just having fun in the recording studio? It doesn't explain the song in the booklet, nor can I find any other thing about the song online.
I heard it was a song that they do towards the end of intermission. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Its a fun little thing they do toward the end of intermission
Thanks for the replies. So if I were to put the songs in order, this should go after "Light of the World" then? Sorry, I must be the only person that hasn't been through a production of Godspell...

It basically serves as the show's entra'acte.

Is that the song they are doing while they are serving the wine?
I agree, I hate the new orchestrations. They are terrible.

No. They just keep jamming for like ten minutes during wine after You Are the Light of the World, which is a ton of fun.
I happen to love the new orchestrations.
