Question about Harold Wheeler...

Harold Wheeler is the conductor of the orchestra for "Hairspray". Is he the same Harold Wheeler who is conducting the "Dancing with the Stars" band?

Yes. He's associated with both but I think he only orchestrated HAIRSPRAY. And I use the words "only orchestrated" loosely. He's a brilliantly talented man with extensive Broadway and movie credits that few others could only hope to attain. He's one of the unsung heroes who truly make the magic happen.

Harold Wheeler is an amazing talent. As has been said, he wrote the orchestrations for Hairspray, featuring arrangements by Marc Shaiman. He has never served as Hairspay's sonductor.
