Alright, I have heard a bunch of people talk about being TDF members, and getting discounted tickets.
I was wondering, what kind of seats do you get with being a member? Are the tickets orchestra seats, or like the back of the balcony?
Or do you not even get a choice in the kind of seats you have?
Thank you, and sorry if this is a stupid question!

are the seats usually good, or does it depend on the show and how well its selling?
I have gotten mostly middle-orchestra seats a couple of times I have gotten mid-mezzanine. You never know where the seats are when you buy them but I have never ben disappointed with my seats. Always an excellent deal!
I bought 3 tkts to The Producers from TDF, and my seats are Orchestra Row S on the right. $29.50, you cant beat it!

I went to Rent tonight with tickets from TDF and got Mess. Row B. on the right isle. The view was fine, not obstructed or anything.

I got tickets through TDF for Losing Louie on Thursday night. This will be my first experience using TDF since I joined. I will let you know how my seats are.
My tdf tickets for LOSING LOUIE were about halfway back in the orchestra...great seats.

I said I would update this post after I saw the show. I ended up with 11th row orchestra, definitely worth the money I spent joining TDF and on the ticket. I figure I will save a lot of money from here on out. Hopefully, The Wedding Singer, High Fidelity and Spring Awakening will be on TDF when I am ready to see them.

High Fidelity certainly will, and Wedding Singer should as well, provided you see it soon (with the closing notice and the holidays, business *should* pick up there, at least a bit).

IS WICKED OR JERSEY BOYS EVER ON TDF OR IS IT WHATEVER IS ON TKTS?
I heard it was on for previews. Updated On: 11/15/06 at 10:55 PM

Jersey Boys was on TDF for basically every preview performance.
A quick question...
I want to sign up, but I don't have a credit card since I'm in High School (which is a qualification).
On the registry page (the second step, credit card info is at the bottom), should I put my name, or my mom's? (the card I'm using)
Also, how many tickets can you buy? (like if I want to be 3 for one show)

Sorry, I need to know soon, since I want to use it this weekend... can you get tickets that close in advance?
BUMP for everything, lol.

When it first opened, I got Drowsy tickets..awesome seats. Row Q seat 4! I have been a member of TDF for a while now, and always recieved pretty good seats.
It is a crapshoot
We saw Jersey Boys in previews . Last row of balcony but you could see fine. We saw Losing Louie & sat in the first row orchestra dead center
Bottom line is the alternative would be to see a fraction of what we have seen. It is a lifesaver
