EDIT: Spoilers for UTBU below.
This is a really obscure play, so there isn't much info online about the synopsis, but I just finished reading it and there was a plot point I'm confused on and figured somebody on here knew the answer.
In the second act, Uggims realizes that JFA is the murderer because JFA claimed that nobody else knew about his mother being poisoned other than him, which implies that JFA is the killer. However, in that same scene after Uggims leaves, JFA says something about knowing that Uggims is the bomber, and I could not figure out how JFA knew about Uggims' killings. Does anybody on here know the answer?
The play itself is hilarious, yet morbid. I'm not entirely surprised it flopped in 1966, but I think that a revival would be more successful if done well.

I'm sorry I can't answer your question, because, quite frankly, I can't remember the plot details.
What I can tell you is that yes indeed, it was hilarious, one of the funniest plays I've ever seen. i laughed my head off. And to see Thelma Ritter and Margaret Hamilton on the same stage! What a thrill! And Constance Ford was brilliant.
