#0Question about a line in The Drowsy Chaperone

I have been listening non-stop to the Drowsy OCR, and remembering all of the great moments in the show. I saw it back in early May so it's been a while and I'm having trouble recalling one of the lines - one of the most pivotal ones at that!

It's at the end, the one that the Chaperone says that has the skip over it, which Man in Chair plays over and over and is fascinated with it and its possible double meaning. I feel so stupid for having forgotten it, and I'm hoping someone could help me out.

The more I listen to this album, the more I remember what a fantastic show this is. I just wish I had the opportunity to get back to New York to see it again...

Thanks everyone!

Janet asks the Chaperone what she should do about her marriage to Robert and the Chaperone either says "leave while you can" or I think "love while you can", but the key word is obscured by Adolpho dropping his cane.

Just as Sutton Foster's character is about to decide whether or not to marry Troy Britton Johnson's, she turns to the Chaperone to ask for "one piece of advice that is coherent and relevent to the situation." Beth Leavel's character responds with "______ while you can." But no one can undersand the line because Danny Burstein's Aldolpho drops his cane (again). The Man in the Chair relpays the recording over and over again, yet all he can understand is "Live while you can" or "Leave while you can" - which inspires a lengthy rant about his marriage and his motivations for it....

Hope it helps!

Thank you guys so much - and such a prompt response too! re: Question about a line in The Drowsy Chaperone

I really appreciate it! I hope they end up creating some sort of coffee table book a la Rent or The Producers so I could have the wonderful script to read and remember.
