#0Question about highest notes in songs

I just have a few questions about songs where I'm wondering what the highest notes are such as:
The last note of "Love Can't Happen"...(the "and I knoooooow!")
The highest note in "One Song Glory"
The highest note in "King Of The World" and "Flying Home"
The last "awaaaaaaay" in "Run Freedom Run"
The highest note in "Pity the Child"
The highest note in "Why" (TTB)
Highest note in "Sunset Boulevard"
Highest note in "Lost in The wilderness"
Highest note in "Marry Me A Little"
No one has to answer all of them, but if you know all of them sweet!

The last note of "Love Can't Happen"...(the "and I knoooooow!")
*pretty sure its an A (?Ab)
The last "awaaaaaaay" in "Run Freedom Run"
* Ab (but his "riff" is higher than that)
Highest note in "Sunset Boulevard"
*there is one G in the Bridge, but otherwise F#
Highest note in "Marry Me A Little"
*should be F# (but its appeared in different shows/revues- so it varies)

Glory: A
King of the World: Bb (85% sure)
Run Freedom Run: Gb (not totally sure -- just going off how I place it)
Lost In The Wilderness: depends on your riff, most take it to a C or D.
Marry Me A Little: E (again, not sure -- but this is very comfortable to sing for me, in contrast to King of the World)

Run Freedom Run is definitely an Ab.
I've heard Lost in the Wilderness a few ways, but on the cd it only goes up to a B.
Why, I'm not exactly sure, but it's no higher than a G... MAYBE an Ab, but I think that's pushing it...

Thanks for the quick and helpful responses!
Dumb question (not really versed in music theory and all), but when you say A4, or G4, the 4 means sharp right? And when you say A or G or F, that means the A or G or F above high C, right?

As someone who's sung Lost in the Wilderness and Run Freedom, Run:
LITW: The CD riff goes up to a C#, but the sheet music is a whole step lower. There are some cool ways to riff up to a G above high C if you've got those notes.
RFR: the last note is an Ab, but the riff before it is a passing tone high C.

King of the world is definately a high C. The others I'm not sure but I was goin' through King of the World one night and was like "Ooops...about a step and a half too high for moi." Good luck finding other stuff...if you look for music that's before 1998 there's a book called "The Broadway Song Companion" that includes all the songs in a each show and lists the range, style of song and the character that sings it. I've used it many a times.
Cheers,
C.

The number refers to the octave of the note. A4 is the A above Middle C. G4 is the G above Middle C, and so on. A3 is the A below Middle C. G3 is the G below Middle C, and so on. If it were sharp, it would simply be notated with a #.
