What is an average number of pages for an orchestrated score?

can be more specific? in a conductor's chart/ in the individual books/
i don't think you could ever truly figure an 'average' for either..

What the orchestrator creates. Not what it is condensed to. Does that make sense?
For example- I have full scores to shows that range from 200-500 pages, but these are not orchestrated (showing every instrument).
I hope this makes sense.

The orchestra reference score for Next to Normal is 410 pages. Consider that is scored for six instruments.
It's been a while since I've seen West Side Story's, but I do remember that it comes in two very thick books from MTI if you order it. I would guess that it was probably between 800 and 1000 pages in the two books combined.

Of course it will vary based on the length of the show and number of instruments. I meant average for a show being written today. So not a huge orchestra but a show that has a good deal of music.
