Posted: 12/12/09 at 2:58pmI bought Ragtime tickets for tonight, and Bye Bye Birdie tickets for a week and a half both through tdf. Has anyone seen either shows recently through tdf and how were the seats?

Posted: 12/12/09 at 3:09pmSeeing how the Henry Miller is brand spanking new, I doubt there's a bad seat anywhere....I sat in the mid mezz and the view was terrific...even from far on one side.

Posted: 12/12/09 at 6:19pmI agree that almost anywhere for Bye Bye Birdie is fine. I was in row R of the orchestra, and I could see everything fine.

I was in front mezz. row G, but moved down to row C of the orch. I really think that being up in the mezz, is better b/c like other mentions, it is a huge set, and in the front of the orch. I had to look up.

I have done ragtime twice on TDF, once last sunday night (which was an added performance and the theater was REALLY empty) and had great seats, row J orchestra 17. Perfect view.
Last night I went and also had a great seat. Row E front mezz (last row of the front mezz) and also a perfect view.
Doesn't bode well for how the show is selling, but at least if you do see it on TDF they seem to be giving you great seats.

"Ragtime was the shocker however. "
Agree, Mr Roxy. Perhaps it is because almost everyone might have seen this show at some point? I can't understand it myself. It got excellent reviews in DC...
Maybe, also, because it might not be such a "light" subject, or family show.
Anyone has any info as to whether the show might be extended beyond January 3rd...?

Posted: 12/14/09 at 9:43amRagtime? They are selling tickets SEVERAL months out. There was never a need to "extend"....as there was never a closing date posted. Just rumor and speculation. (Doesn't mean it still couldn't happen...but I hope it won't.)
