I'm from the Philippines. I will be going to New York to watch Ramin Karimloo in Les Miserables. I'll be there from April 20-30. Will he still be there by that time? And if you could also tell me if he missed any shows due to illness or whatever reason on his Toronto run, that would be great.
The show opens less than a month before that, so all the principals will still be in. It is very rare that a lead, especially someone like Ramin, to take vacation that early into a run. Unless he is ill, you shouldn't have a problem. There is no way to tell when someone will be ill, but you should be ok.

Might be worth checking with the box office/Telecharge before, though, right? I may be mistaken, but I remember reading something about him having an unusual performance schedule wherein his days off from the show were "floating", allowing him more flexibility. Apologies if I'm completely mistaken about this, but I swear I read it somewhere in the last few weeks.

For those interested, according to the official site:
Please note that beginning April 3rd, Ramin Karimloo will not be performing on Thursday evenings for vocal rest. Prior to this date, he will not perform the Wednesday matinees taking place on March 19th and 26th.
In addition, Mr. Karimloo will not perform from May 19 – 22, 2014 due to a pre-existing professional obligation.
During these performances, the role of Jean Valjean will be performed by Aaron Walpole or Nathaniel Hackmann.
Thanks for the info on Ramin's performance schedule.

@thebeautyis3 Thank you!!!!!!! On what site did you find this?
Wow, good to know! Ramin (and Caissie) are the main reasons I want to go, so definitely planning accordingly.
