I'd assume that it would take 3 or 4 months. Since all the choreography and recording will take longer to film them most movies, my guess would be that.

I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart. -Scrubs

anthony already told us that they won't do the actual singing during the taping, it will be voice-overs, so that will definitely make shooting go faster. they do have to shoot in 2 locations though - SF and NY.

And, off-topic, if I was trying to get a job on RENT (running crap errands, whatever) what would you suggest I do to get one? I am going to send letters to the studios producing it (with a resume, etc.) asking for anything, but I really want to do SOMETHING with it. I live in the SF area, and I am gonna have a month off soon to do a Senior Project and I would DIE if I could somehow tie it to RENT. I don't care about being paid etc.. Ever since I found out that RENT was being filmed in SF, I just couldn't get the idea of making it my senior project out of my head.

Do you guys think it is a realistic hope at all? And any suggestions / tips you have, feel free to either post here or PM me...I will really appreciate it!

NOTE--> Even though I really want to do this, I am by no means unrealistic. I know I have almost no chance of achieving this, but I can't not even try, yah know?

LoudIrishGirl, I don't yet, but a friend of mine has some familial connections, and we're going to get to visit the set when they shoot in New York. And hey - anything is worth a try.

he won't tell us specifically, but he'll say, "oh, we're shooting in ny today" so i'll just drive around the east village till i find it. i'm sure it won't be that difficult to find, with all the trailers and equipment and stuff.
