I just finished reading it, and I cried! Overall I think it was good but I don't know if I like how they changed alot and they have the flashbacks during glory and other parts. And there is no way I'm going to be allowed to see this movie.

so... lets talk about the out tonight scene first. i really like it. i think mimi dancing with angel is hilarious, and i like how it's at the cat scratch club instead of in her apartment. and the businessmen being attracted to angel... priceless...

Oh, I know, I love the whole business man thing.

Here's one thing that bothers me though, not directly about Out Tonight (don't shoot!).

The fact that Mimi lives above Roger. It has always bugged me in the show that she comes *down* the stairs into his apartment in Out Tonight, because in the Rent bible, Mimi's character description is "A beautiful stranger from downstairs."

NTG - I KNOW! i like it better that she's upstairs though, cause her shasaying (spelling?) downstairs is great.
