Posted: 7/29/11 at 9:48pmThe official NWS stage door is on 49th Street, but there are multiple exits by which actors can leave the theatre.

Posted: 7/29/11 at 10:35pmWhen I went to the stage door, every one of the actors came out the door that AC126748 mentioned. There wasn't much of a crowd (I assume since most people couldn't find it), and everyone was really nice and stopped to both pose and sign.

Posted: 7/29/11 at 10:56pmThat is the 'stage door' entrance for the company to enter and leave the building. each theatre has it's own "stage door" that opens into the public space within the theatre complex. The stage door for stage 1 - where the company enters and exits their theatre - is located to the left of the theatre, at the bottom of the escalators on "orchestra" level, next to the coat check booth. It's just a plain door.

After the show is over go straight to 49th street. yes, there are those other exits but there is staff there to direct you to the 49th street stage door. The cast exits there.
To get to the stage door leave through the 50th street exit, walk through the plaza to 49th to the stage door.
