OK so I turn 20 on the benefit, and I've contacted the organizer...apparently there might be a problem with me going because I won't have an "adult" over 21 with me! Which sucks because teenagers get to go as long as their mommy and daddy are there with them. If I have someone over 21 with me, then it won't be an issue. So my question is...is there anyone going for sure who's over 21 who wouldn't mind "watching" me (it's just a liability issue and I swear I won't be a problem!!!!)

What?! You mean they won't let you in alone if you aren't 21? Did you buy a ticket or were you planning to do the lotto? I can't imagine they would turn someone down who was paying the $1000+ because of age. Would they?

I highly doubt there is an age restriction, especially since half of Rent's fan base is under 21. Also, if there was an age restriction, wouldn't they have mentioned it?

WAIT WHAT THAT WAS ONE OF MY MAIN PROBLEMS I KNOW THAT THE LOTTERY IS A NO-NO IF UR UNDER 18 BUT I CANT AFFORD 2 TICKETS AND IM ONLY 15 MY MOM IS OK WITH IT AND WHEN I SENT THEM MY MAILING ADDRESSS I SAID THAT I WAS 15.

YOU DO KNOW THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO USE CAPS LOCK TO GET YOUR POINT ACROSS. IN FACT IT'S MUCH EASIER TO READ IF YOU DON'T!

lol justchillin... seriously has anyone else heard of this ridiculous age restriction?? I could see maybe having to be over 18 but over 21 so sucks.

No, these are things the organizer told me...apparently the venue might have a problem with liability. I hate not being considered an adult! C'mon I'm in college I can get alcohol whenever I want! There is a time and place to drink and I definately wouldn't do it when I'm in the presence of all those people! She's going to get back to me after talking to the restaurant or whatever. Bah.

sorry about the caps lock but ive spent all day looking 4 info and i just want my questions answered, so instead of complaining can some1 please tell me where it metions the restaurant on the invite
