So they did do a brief 15 second thing on it on E news.
They showed a brief sec from the trailer. Then the cast singing SOL at the park, but the host of the show giving a voice-over so you don't really hear the singing too much. She says the movie reunites most of the OBC including Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs who met doing the show.
Then it shows Idina and Taye and he says, "We never fight....never...never...never." Idina looks on adoringly and says never. Taye says "we're the perfect couple"

I wanted to get something that an "ex"-junkie like him would really appreciate and cherish....it's a brick of heroin shaped like a heart.

i am so jealous!
how frustrating is it to realize all the RENT stuff happens literally days before you arrive in the city.
does anyone know if anything is gonna happen sometime between aug. 7 and 10th? cuz thats when i'm gonna be there, and i would DIE if there was anything.

I'm so glad I was able to share this day with so many people. It truly was a life-changing event to see these legends perform right in front of me!

That's the "Access Hollywood" video... I uploaded it a bit ago just in case anyone was interested. It's less than a minute, but shows the cast singing at BOTH the Today Show and also at Bryant Park. No interviews, but they talk about Tracie and Rosario performing for the first time live with these songs and stuff. Worth looking at, but nothing crazy special. :)
