Kinda disappointing, tho. Its great, dont get me wrong, but its nothing we haven't seen. How bout the pose after LVB? Meh.

Not trying to be mean or anything, just wonderin if they'll eventually come out with things that have a different picture on them. I love the picture, don't get me wrong, but I wish I could see other ones come out as posters

That was full price just last week. I'm weary of pre-ordering on Amazon because of that.

i think its weird that they are releasing the soundtrack almost 2 months before the movie comes out.

whiskedayaway, why is it THAT weird? Didn't the Phantom soundtrack come out at about that time? And they obviously are doing a much better (or at least bigger) advertising job this time around. So I don't think it's THAT stragne.

I keep on feeling like I need correct everybody on using the word soundtrack, but then I realize they're right for once. Anyways- I like the soundtrack cover I guess, but I too wish they would come out with more of a variety of pictures (I bet they won't though).

I'm actually considering buying this CD -I'm not a fan of Rent but I think a recording without Daphne may suit my tastes more.

Maybe it has already been mentioned, but since I haven't seen it, will it be a single or a double disc release ? I guess double, but could be wrong !

Wow. When Rent first came out, back in 96 on CD, I used to get chills listening to it - there was something so DIFFERENT about it that I can't even begin to describe. Maybe it's a very strong connection I had with that year in college, but there was always something special about Rent that I haven't felt in a long time. Seeing that cover brought back the chills and the feeling I had when it first came out -- I hope the movie does the same!

well if i rember corectly, Phantoms soundtrack came out november 21st or something like that, and the movie opened in the UK on december 10th, and in the US on december 23rd or around there. so about a month before the movie. the reason i think its werid is because if i had a movie like this, even though the OBC is already available, i would wanna wait until after the movie comes out to release the soundtrack since its basically the entire movie, in sound form ya know. but im sure they know what they are doing.
