RENT tour...

Does anyone else have tickets for what is supposedly RENT previews? February 27 to March 5... I have 2 tickets for March 1 but I have heard the tour is taking a break these days... It would be nice to know for sure. Any info? HELP!

I was wondering about these dates...I happen to see those dates in a list of where the Rent tour would be, but the dates aren't listed on broadwayinchicago.com or ticketmaster. I'm really not sure!

That's odd....

Last I read (which, granted, was a while ago now) Rent was to be in Chicago from April 4 to April 14th....

RENT is going to be in Chicago April 5-15. I was told the other week was previews or something (which doesn't really make sense, but that's what I was told).

GilmoreGirl where did you see the dates listed???

If you go to broadwayinchicago.com and click on shows, then on Rent it lists those dates.

I just bought tickets 2 hours ago!!! I'm soooo excited!!! I'm from Kentucky but my aunt and uncle live up there so my friend and i are driving up to see it!!! yay!!!

I'm going on the 12th. I don't know if they still do the lotto, but several years ago when I saw the tour they did a lotto.

Well my plans changed but I'm still going. I'll be there for the matinee on the 6th.

I'm going the 6th too! At 7:30, though. Did you ever notice in the logo that appears on broadwayinchicago.com it says "RENT (live)." "live" is small and below the word RENT. Has the logo always been like that?

I am going on Sat the 8 at 2:00. I got house row seats from the one of the people in the cast. I can't wait to see it.

i saw it last night. it was fantastic...

I thought everyone's voice was amazing, except Mimi. She just didn't thrill me to much....

I especially loved Roger's voice.

I saw it Friday night after a wonderful day being a tourist in the city. My friend and I thought it sounded like Mimi was loosing her voice. Other than that it was great. My uncle went with us and was so confused! At intermission we were trying to explain it to him. Its comming to a theater an hour from me this weekend and I really want to go do lotto friday night but I'm going to be really busy the rest of the weeked so I should really do homework that night.

I realize this thread was posted awhile ago...

I was just going to add that I saw the Rent was it was in Madison last month. I loved it. I was sad to see a thread for it on the broadway board with people saying how terrible it was. I'm not sure if they saw it on a bad night or what, but I know the night I saw the cast was great (except for Mimi a bit...she sounded sick).

Rodger and Mark were both excellent.

And damn, Collin's low notes were really sexy.
