Posted: 11/25/05 at 11:54amOk this is probably my annoyingly musical ear...but in the second performace was Adam a little flat at the beginning? Near the end he sounded better but it sounded like he was a little off. Im not saying that he is a bad singer or anything they have been singing nonstop lately just wondering if i am the only one that noticed it

It's entirely possible, but I am guessing lots of the people watching it are like me and know very little about music and it sounded good to me!
It would drive me crazy to always hear the imperfections in music haha! This is one thing I enjoy being ignorant about.

I thought he sounded flat as well. And you KNOW the "biggest RENT fans" probably discovered RENT after Wicked.
They <3 Idina

Posted: 11/25/05 at 12:06pmOkay, that was really cute, but those "fan" questions were just dumb. I'm sorry, but couldn't they think of more meaningful question? Geez.
Wishes come true, not free.

No, they just had to find someway to get it in that "they were the BIGGEST rentheads".
It frustrated me too, if only some of the people on this board had gotten that opportunity to ask a question... :]

It was definately flat - at first I thought it was Rosario...and then I thought maybe it was the fact that they were all trying to over power each other, ya know? Some of them were yelling.
And those "RENT" fans? hahahahahahahahahahahahahha.
a) the costumes? I didn't see the resemblence
b) I wanted to smack them for some reason (maybe it had something to do with asking Idina what to sing at auditions. I mean, seriously?)
c) "probably discovered RENT after Wicked" hahahaha, amen

Posted: 11/25/05 at 12:16pmThe "Maureen" had on a catsuit wth kitten ears and the "Joanne" had on a tweed suit. I could see what they were going for.

Did anyone type the view? because stupid football is on instead of the view today. It's terrible!
So if someone could post it that would be great!
Thanks.

Posted: 11/25/05 at 12:51pmDid anyone else get heavy static a few times during the first segment of the View, before the cast came on? I'm wondering if it was my system, the cable company or the broadcast itself.

I think I got that. I was kind of sitting in my dentist office at the time, so I wasn't sure. Could of been a drill or something.
Oh, and so my dentist was drilling while the cast was singing Finale B, and he kept looking up and watching them. =/ I think he should be paying more attention to the large drill that was in my mouth!

Thanks for letting me know. I was worried my TV was starting to go on the blink.
The interplay among the group was great. They kept touching and patting each other.

Rowers, you shouldn't pull fire alarms like that.

adam WAS flat.
and, i dont know. anthony sounded a little hestistant/weak when he came in too. is he sick?
yeah. but, i was cringing up until the whole cast was singing. i think it also had to do with the fact that they were in a tv studio. people sound different in different places. i mean, the view set is not desined acousitically to host singers all the time. so, they did very well, in my opinion, for the conditions that they were in.
but, i didn't know about the view until my mom successfully woke me up at 11:45 (she had apparently tried to wake me up multiple times before! haha) so, if anybody taped it-does anybody know if i can find it online? i am dying to see the whole thing.
thanks! :)

Personally, I was a fan of Taye's answer to that woman's question about his feelings on Idina kissing other women...
And the host asked if it was "a turn on"
"Well it doesn't suck..."
