i saw the View and it was great. i agree w. you guys on the "fan" questions...they couldn't ask better questions?? The set design of the show was cool. i liked when Idina admited to being a wedding singer..ahaha

Those "Biggest Fan's" were obnoxious. It had to be Wicked that brought them to Idina who brought them to RENT ... no doubt about it.
They looked older- like 16/17 but I think they were younger. Halloween costumes sucked so much, it was funny.
And the question of which song to sing for an audition is probably THE MOST RIDICULOUS asked question. I am so happy that Idina didn't mention a 'good song'. If they chose to actually ask that question, there is no way they are going to get a part. Don't they realize that they need to pick a song for their voices? I guess not...
I do think it was a great interview. One of the best I have seen and everyone got a chance to talk.
*by the way*- I have to admit I like Adam's hair shorter as opposed to the movie. I do think it fit well in with the movie but however, now that the movie is over, I'm glad it's cut.

ok, i admit i didnt read this whole thread, so dont jump on me if this was already asked, but:
is anyone else a bit bothered by the fact that rosario and jesse seemed to be asked A LOT more questions in talk show interviews? when i was watching the view today, tracie and anthony and wilson didnt say much at all! and all the interviews ive seen on TV have either been rosario and jesse. i mean its great advertising the most well known cast members, but when the whole cast is there, it still seems like rosario and jesse are getting the majority of the questions. just an observation. any thoughts?
I also heard static noises during the first segment of the View. I figured it was just because it was so windy by my house, but I guess not seeing that other people had the same problem.
Excellent interview, for once pretty much everyone got a chance to talk (and not just the same superficial stuff) and the Adam/Taye banter was hilarious. The eye-dina fangirls were annoying, though - what a waste of Q&A time.
Something was a tad off with the individual parts of Finale B before the whole cast kicked in, but I'll chalk that up to the View's craptacular sound system (I've seen performances on that show where the microphone would stop working every time the singer moved too close to the front of the stage).
YES! i heard those noises too! i was getting sooo mad at my tv lol. i thought it was just my luck lol
I had the static too. Except that I figured it had to be my crappy TV, so I ran upstairs to hook up the other TV (which has the better reception...) Oh well. Whatever the case may be, switching probably gave me a better taped copy anyway.
Tracie also struck me as a little off on the end high note in "Seasons". I was listening to the playback and wondering if the cast could actually HEAR the track they were using. It sounded kinda faint to me... which might account for the pitch issues with Adam.

Reel Talk, right now.
ETA -- well, that was like three seconds long. The woman? What a bitch. She didn't like it, but the guy REALLY liked it, and she kept cutting him off. He was so excited to talk about how much he liked it, and she kept trying to bring him down for liking it. Argh. She can dislike it all she wants, but let the guy talk!
Jeffrey Lyons raved about it. Said it was smart that they got most of the original cast back to do it, that the songs were wonderful, that it explodes off the screen, and that he loved every scene of it.
Those quotes will surely make it into the ads for the movie soon.
