RENT: School Edition - AMAZING!

Hey guys!

So i went back to my hometown Scottsdale, AZ this week and had the honor of attending a dress rehearsal of RENT: School Edition at the Youtheatre that I grew up in and what I saw there was SOO moving I can't even tell you! I had to share this with you guys because I thought you would be able to appreciate how amazing it is that kids who were about 5 when RENT opened on Broadway are now carrying the shows message in a way I've never seen it done!

im in austin and saw the one here a couple months ago. roger made me want to kill myself and mimi was past stripper into something so slutty you can tell shes really like that offstage but it was good.

I just did the school edition and it is a great joy to put on rent in some incarnation even though it wasnt the full show.

I thought you might find this interesting. I got an IMMEDIATE cautionary email when I put up this video saying that it was flagged for copyright issues but the owners UMG of the RENT copyright have decided to let it stay up because they condone the content. Crazy, right?!? they must have some sort of IMMEDIATE flag for anything that says RENT! In my over 75 vids I've NEVER had anything like that except one time So You Think You Can Dance had one of my vids taken down but it was like a week after it went up!!

What in the world does being 5 when the show opened have to do with ANYTHING? If they did Hello Dolly would you say "OMG they weren't even BORN when Dolly opened on Broadway!!!"
