No she's not going to try. She wound up asst. managing the Ford's Center and then got Hodgkin's. So she's now in remission and sticks with performing/directing community theatre. And she feels great and sounds terrific.

Could someone please PM me(and post here if they wish) telling me WHY on the character discriptions they say that Angel can be young to late teen's? I dont get what they mean. If they mean that a 15 year old can be cast as him, I'M GOING!! I just need a REALLY good tan.LOL!

It says young/late teens to 20's. The youngest actor to ever be cast for Angel was 18. And that only happened once.

Would also recommend against singing something from the show. These folks at Chelsea hear way too many people singing songs from the show. Choose a rock or pop song that will show off your voice. No MT. And especially no TMOLM, it's a duet, people. Updated On: 11/21/04 at 11:55 AM

That's what I said too, but apparently the site says to prepare 16 bars from the show, so um...yeah. I feel sorry for the casting agents! I would go crazy hearing TMOLM that many times. But if you're going for Maureen, your options are kinda limited.

Nearly all of the actors I've talked to who have been cast in the show over the past couple of years sang a song from the show at their audition.

I'd assume they're seeking immediate replacements for a couple of ensemble members in the current touring cast who are leaving at the end of the year.

Are there ensemble people leaving at the end of the year? I always figured the auditions were to replace almost everyone, since the cast is only contracted until the end of March but the site says the tour plans on continuing until at least July 2005.
