That's one of the 2004 drafts. Not '01.

The '01 has Jonathan has a character.

LOL, I remember that. I think it was a "fanfic" script, not a serious screenwriter, but that was...memorable. It was like a tick tick BOOM/Rent crossover, because I seem to remember a scene with him talking to Michael about his voyeuristic habits with the Rent characters. Then he's the one that found Mimi outside on the street at the end and called out to the Rent characters, then disappeared into the night, reflecting on how much his stalkees have grown.
Ah, memories. I think the anticipation of the movie was better than the result.

I actually don't remember the 2001 one having Jonathan as a character. I know one of them did but I don't think that one was it. I have three on my computer right now and I can't be arsed to go through them all right now, but I wouldn't mind reading the first one again so I can check that one at least.
In any case, all three were definitely circulating around the internet during the leadup to the movie.
