I hope this still makes it to Broadway. I'm really intrigued by this production (though I know many here aren't).

I hope it doesn't get delayed yet again...the critics will really start pre-sharpening their pens then, if they aren't already (and they surely are). I'm of the mind this could actually be really cool, despite my distaste for both Taymor and U2.

I love how producers think even if reviews and word of mouth are bad their show is still will be a big success. Don't they look at shows like The Little Mermaid and 9 to 5 and think twice before investing north of 35 million dollars into a musical.

I am actually really looking forward to this more for interest but am defiantly going to wait until reviews comes out before shelling out 135 dollars. But my interest is more because of Taymor not so much the fact that "Spiderman" is coming to broadway. But hand Taymor 35 million dollars at least you will have something pretty to look at.

Yeah, I don't understand how this show could possibly recoup, even if it manages to run for two or three years on "curiosity." It seems pretty much impossible.

Unless its like Wicked and sells out all year on full price tickets in a huge theatre its pretty much impossible. The show will either be a HUGE success or a HUGE failure. I'm very interested to hear what reviews say and how much of an effect it has on it. Time will only tell.
