R.I.P. I was only watching the movie "Impromptu" yesterday, where she plays Judy Davis's Mother and thinking how fantastic she was in that tiny scene.

She had a pivotal role in one of my all-time favorite films, Peeping Tom. Also good in Hitchcock's second to last film, Frenzy.

For some reason I never drew the connection between her and Raymond Massey until I read the obits.

Among her many charming, detailed performances, I will most remember her from Masterpiece Theater's He Knew He Was Right.

She reads Roxane beautifully opposite Sir Ralph Richardson's Cyrano on the Caedmon recording. I was obsessed with it when I was in high school.

Despite being familiar with her name, I think that Poirot episode was the first time I've seen her act - a great episode, she was terrific as that spy lady...I've been meaning to check out Peeping Tom for a while now. I might just do that soon. RIP

ALways loved her, and thought her work in PPEPING TOM was incredible.
