Passed away far too young.
Probably best known nowadays for her small role in Harry Potter, but she's had a long (but not long enough) career on stage and screen.
I stupidly passed up the opportunity to see her live when I was in London in 2016, though I remember seeing her exit the stage door while I was at the National seeing another show.

So sorry to hear this.
Was fortunate enough to have seen her on stage and more recently have enjoyed her in Peaky Blinders.

Rest In Peace Helen. Saw every episode of all five seasons of Peaky Blinders. Your portrayal of Polly Gray was brilliant. Fly with angels.

Terrible news. Another ten years and probalby everyone in the US would have known about her. She was very talented.
I saw her onstage in DEEP BLUE SEA but I found her performance in the taped version to be just as good if not better. I'm glad that that peformance was recorded.

RIP. A wonderful actor. I first saw her on stage in UNCLE VANYA and TWELFTH NIGHT at BAM about 20 years ago, an imported production with some other heavy-hitters in the company (Emily Watson, Simon Russell Beale, Mark Strong). She was distinctive and memorable, and I followed her career ever seen. Glad I got to see her in THE DEEP BLUE SEA while visiting London a few years ago. I agree with sinister teardrop that she was just as good in the filmed version, which I watched last summer.
