As anybody who has gone to Shakespeare In The Park this summer seen any rabid racoons around the park? There was an article in this Thursday's Daily News with the title CENTRAL PARK'S RABID RACOONS. It said Officials move quickly to stem spike in number of sick animals found this spring. There was also a city map of the park to the left of the article showing where the rabid racoons were found and 79th Street Central Park West was one of the areas where they were spotted.

There was a report on the news either yesterday or this morning about how the park has been taking action to eliminate the problem and the reports of raccoon sightings in the park in general are down significantly this year.
