Reading Dan Radcliffe's recent interview for Time Out New York, he mentions:
"So I have to enjoy that every single time because come January 1, I’ll never get to do it again. I love it, and I take a huge amount of pride in doing it every single night."
I wonder if the show will close with him ala Promises or if they'll recast him.

The silly boy does know he can renew his contract, right? Or is his agent trying to save their own skin by bouncing him back to more lucrative Hollywood projects and keeping him in the dark?
Back to the topic. I don't think Radcliffe hints that HOW TO SUCCEED...will close when his contract with the show expires. The show's current financial success may well be due to Radcliffe's participation, but IMO the entire cast is doing an amazing job, particularly John Larroquette, and the producers should be able to find someone to replace Radcliffe. Don't ask me who, though. Others on this Board have a better take on the current crop of young actors and actresses. This show is too good to close in January.
Why must they be so many dumb posts, surely people have better things to do?
Anyway
I think the show will close with him, and as to the person who said about him renewing, well the chances are he has things lined up so wont be able to renew.

Radcliffe is a British citizen, non-US. He can only work here 6 months. There was a special short work visa extension for The History Boys cast years back, but normally the process is 6 months and out. Thats the way immigration usually works, star or not.

Are the producers of HOW TO SUCCEED the same as PROMISES, PROMISES? Those producers certainly surprised everyone by simply closing when the stars' contracts expired. They had recouped just in time, but all the same a surprising decision.
If he is going to be replaced, I'd love to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the role.

I still would love to see Darren Criss, but his Glee schedule probably would make it a conflict.
Considering they don’t even let his understudy go on when Mr. Radcliff is doing press for HP, seems to be a rather telling sign.
The producers are the same as PROMISES, and that show did NOT recoup. And no one is going to see HOW TO... to see HOW TO.
It's called BAD producing when the show can't support the salary and budget they are spending. It will be interesting to se if HOW TO... succeeds or not.

You can delete all the posts of mine you want, but I STILL think he's prophesying the end of the world!
PROMISES, PROMISES actually recouped, if I'm not mistaken. They just didn't do a press release.
PROMISES put out a press release saying they were CLOSE to recouping and then closed and DID not recoup the initial investment. I heard that Sean Hayes actually agreed to extend a few more months but the Producers had already lost the theatre to SISTER ACT. Again, BAD producing,
