i love ragtime i am glad that it is back on broadway. i think they should have more kids in the show 6 6-12 years old black white and ppeople from others places. and then have some teens 13-19 in the show.
And maybe some young adults 20-26 and some other adults 27-33 (preferably a fair black/white ratio).

Their Broadway on Broadway performance was INCREDIBLE!

I attended the press event, and recorded interviews with Stephen Flaherty, Lynn Ahrens, Marcia Dodge (the director), producer Ron Furman, Christiane Noll and Robert Perkoff for DC Theatre Scene. The cast is amazing. I cannot wait to hear 28 musicians play Stephen and Lynn's incredible score at the Neil Simon Theatre. Can you only imagine how amazing that will sound? I can't wait to see it when it opens on November 15th. The interviews will be posted on DC Theatre Scene in the next week. I am so excited to see this great show back on Broadway, where it belongs.

Hockeynut, if you saw the Kennedy Center production, you have heard the score with 28 musicians. It was the full compliment of musicians and if you looked over the rail of the orchestra pit you could see how crammed it was in there. Nothing like a live orchestra.

Are you stupid? There is no reason to have teens or preteens in the show, other than the two roles that require preteens. Do you even know what the show is about?
