Not much to rant about. Few surprises or would-be snubs.
""Neverland
Gigi
Living on Love
All snubbed"
Victoria Clark was nominated for Gigi."
Thanks! I posted that a few posts later to clarify.
I'm thrilled for Disgraced being remembered in Best Play! I thought it would have been overlooked due to the onslaught of well-received new plays this spring.

Nothing for A Delicate Balance!

It did win the Pulitzer. Deserves a Best Play nod.
Wanted Ashley Park for King and I and Lisa Howard and It Shoulda Been You, but overall pleased with them. :)

Sadly having anyone from the same show usually spreads votes in the category. It's great for Fun Home, but Ruthie might have a shot if voters spread them out.
Not surprised about Neverland.
Great to see the love for Hand to God.
I didn't expect Neverland to get snubbed.
I thought Grammer, set, lights, and maybe score.
Alas, twas not to be.
A little surprised nothing for Side Show or Honeymoon. They've been good in recent years with honoring well received closed shows in a few categories. Guess The Last Ship got that honor, this year.
I'm surprised that 4 new musicals got 0 nominations this year.
Congrats to The Visit for 5 nominations and The King and I for 8

I am so grad the nominations showed creativity over money this year. I am going to NYC this year I am so happy that the tony committiee chose that list

The only nominations I care about are for Kristin Chenoweth & Fun Home.
really wasn't expecting AN AMERICAN IN PARIS to get 12 nominations. Kudos!!! Not much to complain about.
I would have liked to see a little love for It Shoulda Been You.
But I'm not too upset. The roster of nominees is aces.
Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical
Beth Malone, Fun Home
Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical
Judy Kuhn, Fun Home
Sydney Lucas, Fun Home
Emily Skeggs, Fun Home
Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical

I love all these people. This is fantastic.

So it looks like these are the shows with 0 nominations:
Hollar if You Hear Me
Love Letters
The Country House
The Real Thing
The River
Side Show
A Delicate Balance
Honeymoon in Vegas
Fish in the Dark
It Shoulda Been You
Finding Neverland
Living on Love
Doctor Zhivago
Stand-by Joined: 6/13/14
So Living on Love and Doctor Zhivago should be announcing their closing soon?
Total snub for Side Show. Only three in the best revival category?
Interestingly, the only nomination that I think The Visit deserved was Best Scenic Design, and yet it wasn't nominated in that category!
Well it's pretty clear that FH is going to win.
I'm also gonna go with Cheno. As much as I love The Visit and Chita (goddess), I have to say Cheno deserves the award.
I guess the JRB spell has been broken. He usually gets at least a nomination for his music for each show. I would have taken Sting out and put him in there.
Also I am surprised that DZ didn't get at least set.
And I thought SIDE SHOW was excellent and should have gotten something.
I guess that is what happens Neverland when you throw your leading man under the bus.
Why are we initializing Fun Home? It's 7 letters.

Oh, absolutely! I saw it just before it closed and thought it one of the best plays of the season. I just thought the Fall opening and early closing would work against it, so I'm happily surprised to see it remembered.
why didn't they nominated Nathaniel for Wolf Hall!? Or Bryce Pinkham?? Featured actor in a play is stupid.
