The fascinating casting chose of Phylicia Rashad as Violet got me thinking. Here are my suggestions for an all-black cast of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY.
Beverly - Anthony Chisholm
Mattie Fae - Leslie Uggams
Charlie - Andre de Shields
Barbara - Alfrie Woodard
Ivy - Viola Davis
Karen - Anika Noni Rose
Bill - Delroy Lindo
Keep Brian Kerwin as Steve. Add that dimension to it, as well.

Maybe Lisa Bonet, Tempestt Bledsoe and Keshia Knight Pulliam as the three sisters? 
Actually, there is one Cosby crossover that would work: Earle Hyman as Beverly.
