Raul Esparza is an EXTREMELY talented actor/singer who appeared last season in TABOO and THE NORMAL HEART and is in the upcoming CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG.
Not to mention incredibly sexy

Posted: 3/3/05 at 8:30pmI believe it was either transposed a major or minor 3rd up from the original key. Go to www.sheetmusicdirect.us. Choose United States as your location and then search for the Defying Gravity sheet music. They have a program where you can transpose the preview sheet music and you can tinker around with it and get an idea of what would suit your voice.

Yep, AG hit the nail on the head. Love me some Raúl.
FYI for whoever asked, he also did CABARET and The Rocky Horror Show on Broadway, and he played Jonathan in Tick, Tick.... BOOM! off Broadway. He also played Che in a not-so long ago tour of EVITA and was in the play "Comedians" a few years ago. I know I'm missing a lot, but that's the major stuff.

I downloaded the plug-in, then had to return to the site all over again. Must have been a slight loading issue, but it sure screwed me up for a second.
Try that and see how it works!

re: Raul Esparza Defying Gravity#19
Posted: 3/3/05 at 10:11pmI'm still lobbying for him to be the next Elphaba, and I'm only half joking. Really, we can change the gender of a famous character in literature so he can sing that song. Why not?

Raul is phenomenal
everything else said about him is a subtopic
re: Raul Esparza Defying Gravity#21
Posted: 3/3/05 at 10:14pmStar, you mean we can't have an entire topic about how pretty he is?

No no, by all means, please articulate his beauty in detail

Som, in the book, wasn't Eplhaba supposed to have been born a hermaphrodite? So it's not changing things.
Type_A_Tiff: There's nothing hard about her. Broadway_star_tomorrow: Yeah. Her arteries.

I do believe you're right.
Excellent. Nia, I'll lobby with you. And then, when we get what we want, I'm moving into the Gershwin. Oh God, I'll be one of those people who sees Wicked every day.
