I fell in LOVE with this picture...because of Adam, Julia...and my favorite that you can't see in my avatar... Sutton in the background lookin' really sad for some reason...she probably wishes she were Julia.

I'm gonna agree with Emcee on this one though, her amazing voice does make her more attractive...

I love Julia Murney. Period.

Julia is so talented and she's going to be fabulous in Wicked. I thought for a long time that she was perfect for the role and wondered why she hadn't done it. I wish I could go see her...

And, she is gorgeous.

Well, judging from the Chess equity concert, she is a horrible improper belter...so everyone will love her.

(a) Actors' Fund, not Equity.

(b) I'm no singer, and yes, I am aware of the flaws in her technique, but please, don't be so quick like that -- give her a chance before you lump her in with those who are both so worshipped and attacked in loathing by the teenybopper Wicked fan insanity. This one is nothing like Shoshana.

I love how you haven't even heard her sing the music in Wicked yet, but you're already making assumptions about how she'll perform. I heard Stephanie and was less than impressed, so if "proper belting" is what she's doing, maybe it's better that Julia doesn't have her "pretty" technique.

Seriously, Stephanie, to me, is less than underwhelming.

The part of Elphaba seems to work best in a rock belt. Something that isn't "technically correct."

It needs power. That's about all.

Julia is over-qualified if anything. I am excited for her!

This just proves we are all a bit biased.

What most people like is improper belting, I admit, it sounds cool HOWEVER not after about a month of doing so.

I'm merely saying that I believe (in my humble opinion) that Julia is a improper belter, meaning people who enjoy such will adore her. I, however, hearing every bit of pain and seeing every muscle in her neck and jaw tense up from the screaming that she is actually doing, will only be able to think of the damage that is being done to her voice. MY opinion, no one has to agree with it :)

Whether you like Stephanie or not, I adore her, I think she is one of the most amazing performers I have ever seen (and I've seen a lot kids, I'm no wicked teeny...). She has a healthy sounding beautifully power voice, as well as an amazing character development that I have not seen from any of the other Elphabas I have seen. JMO!

How come people LIKE JULIA can make it work, then? She's been belting her brains out for how long? And she can handle 8 shows a week. Maybe she's better than you think she is.
