Rear mezz isn't bad sight-wise, though I had trouble understanding some of what James Earl Jones said from there. (not because he wasn't projecting, lol -- it was the diction)
I have not rushed DMD yet and I haven't seen it yet so I can't comment on the show from that location. The rear mezz seats seem to be even tighter than the rest of the theatre. Even when in an aisle seat (like when I saw RED), I was really uncomfortable.
The orchestra at the Golden is no better. In fact, I find this the most uncomfortable theatre on Broadway. Too bad they don't sell standing room there, for it would be preferable to sitting.
