Scarily true!
Thank you for these photos! It inspired me to listen the cast album this weekend and draw another comic:

Thanks for confirming!
I was looking at the photos and thought I saw Victor Spinetti. Then I looked at the poster, couldn't see his name, and assumed he had a doppelgänger.

I can't see this being a candidate for Encores until a lot of other shows are presented first, e.g., Hallelujah! Baby! Darling of the Day! The Happy Time from that immediate period all have much better scores.
My problem with the show and cast album was a lack of charisma and an awful lot of filler songs. Julie Harris received an undeserved Tony nomination for a very bland and uncomfortable performance, which comes through on the OCR. Peter Marshall had a pleasant voice but no charisma. CNR was funny but 'less is more' is a term that he was not familiar with. Sorta like Jackie Hoffman today, either you loved him or hated him in this show because he was so over the top.
The estimation of Julie's work ... a little harsh.

I sat through that performance surprised how uninteresting she was, and I was only 15 or so. It was her first and only musical, unless I am forgetting something from Summer Stock.
She may have been an icon, but it is not for her musicals.
