sorry if this was posted before or something, i swear i searched around and couldn't find anything.
-My friend is going around saying she has tickets for rent this summer (i think may or june) and that it is also the closing night. That kinda startled me because i haven't heard anything about it closing, and i still can't find anything on it. So, i don't really believe her, but you never know. Can someone tell what the truth is? lol

It has absolutly no reason to close, and your friend is a liar
the truth is not to believe everything you hear.

ok thanks, because i knew it wasn't true, but it just kept ticking in the back of my head until i had to ask someone else to make sure i wasn't going crazy lol!

yeah, RENT is doing well I think, so yeah, dont know why your friend said that
:)
It would make no sense to close... but you scared me for a minute when I saw the topic on the board!
i think you can only buy tickets up until July, eventually more will go on sale, so maybe she just thought it was the final performance

Em, I'm with you on that one. Any room for me on the wall, or should I just take the floor?
I have lots of wall-space.

Haha good, cause after that I think I'll be hitting my head a little more than once. Wall-space is good!
Did anyone notice that in June, the Rent goes up in price on Fri-Sat performances?

As of now tickets are only on sale for Rent up until July. This does not mean that the show is closing. They release tickets in blocks. This is probably what is confusing your friends.

Héhé.
In the weeks after any announcement of RENT closing, this forum will just be wall-to-wall of various RENT threads. Helen Keller wouldn't be able to miss it!

You might need these. Headache yet?

Since RENT draws a young audience, it would be foolish to close the show at the beginning of summer recess.
Geez! Could we choose a thread title that doesn't nearly cause a heart attack?!
your friend is an idiot.
That was the scariest thing I have ever read...*can relax now*

Rent was almost 99 percent full last week. Somehow, I think it will be sticking around for a while.

Haha thanks ashley0139, I could use some of those pillows. But I think this thread gave me more of a headache than hitting my head on the wall!
