I heard a rumor that they filmed the final performance of rent and it will be out for DVD sale in Feb. is that true?

Yes, it is true and will be out on DVD and bluray on February 3rd.

Unfortunately the usual BWWers will post annoyingly bitchy comments towards you in 3...2..
