RENT (NEDERLANDER) $683,252 $522,031 $71.57 $150.00 9,547 9,448 8 101.0% 91.8% 9.2%
As can be seen from this week's figures, the Rent movie obviously helped to increase attendence at the show. The theater was 101% full on average.

Posted: 11/29/05 at 5:48pmI'm going in January, not because of the movie, but because I got tickets for my birthday, which is around christmas... there might be more interest too because of the holidays... but i don't doubt there'd be more because of the movie as well. there's also been an increase in total broadway attendance recently as well....

Posted: 11/29/05 at 5:52pmI don't know the exact figure, but I do know it is relatively low. I'd be interested in that figure as well.

Couple that with the movie and you're going to see the Broadway show definately get SOME kind of a shot in the arm as a result. Hopefully it'll make it last a couple more years at least.
