You can get the Rent trailer on DVD for free at Best Buy. Best Buy is giving out free Sneak Preview DVD's for the movie Stealth (which is being released by the same company as Rent). In the DVD, if you select "Previews," then "Rent," you can watch the full Rent trailer.

I must get one (for I am an obsessed geek, shut up)

1. Ted Allen: Everyone has an interesting life if you ask the right questions.
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!
3. "I love shrubs that are historical." -Johnny and The Sprites
4. "We're not singing it to you, we're singing it for us." -Rosario Dawson, about La Vie Boheme
5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

Aww, crap. I live in one of the smallest towns ever, so no Best Buy. Sucky...ah well. I'll just watch it on my computer 15 billion times, mostly just for the Mark and Roger hug. re: Rent Trailer on DVD

I know how you feel rice and beans AND cheese, the town that I am moving to in a couple of months is indeed a lot smaller than where I live... no Best Buy, Barnes and Noble, or Borders that I know of... How on earth will I keep up my weird DVD/ Broadway Recordings collections?

Kristin Chenoweth could barely control a Great Dane she trotted onto the stage. "Great, they gave me a dog that weighs five times what I do", she quipped. For the record, she weighs 93 pounds, and has a Maltese.

bustinloose - Some DVD's (at the Best Buy near me) were bundled with other DVD's you could buy, but they were also available separately for free.

Thanx for the info!

(Martha Graham from a letter to Agnes de Mille) "There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening That is translated through you into action, And because there is only one of you in all time, This expression is unique. If you block it, It will never exist through any other medium And be lost. The world will never have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is, Nor how valuable it is, Nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, To keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware Directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, A blessed unrest that keeps us marching And makes us more alive than others."

Man, I had ondemand for the longest time, and I was hoping RENT would be on it too... but after we got rid of it, and now it's ondemand? AAAAH! that completely sucks and I doubt I can get to a Best Buy... the closest one is 20 mins away, and I would go but I don't have a car.

CATSNYrevival - Yeah, you have it right. I know it's weird, but I guess Sony is trying to squeeze as much promotional stuff as it can on the DVD.
And, just so there's no confusion, the trailer is the same as the one online.

I was in Best Buy today, and they had a HUGE display in the center of the store of the free Stealth dvd preview disc. CATSNYrevival, if you look in the menu, there is an option of other "previews". There are several in there - and RENT is one of them. It's not that strange considering it's the same movie company doing both movies. Da Vinci Code, The Legend of Zorro and more are also in there....

Oh, bustinloose, you won't look strange going in and just getting the DVD - there is nothing I saw that said you had to buy anything...although they did scan it at the checkout counter and charged me $.01.
