I will be in NYC in December and am seeing some theatre in parts of the city that I’m not overly familiar with
I am open to most cuisine (American, Mediterranean, Asian Spanish are what I have enjoyed in the past) service and creativity are things that I typically look for in a restaurant I have no problem with fine dining, as long as the quality is reflected in the higher price
1. The Shed (would like to avoid eating inside Hudson Yards as I have heard it’s expensive and questionable quality)
2. NYTW (have heard about Veselka and il Buco but I am curious about other options)
I recommend Fish Cheeks which is a short walk from NYTW.
The best burger joint in NYC is a 5 minute walk from NYTW. Milk Burger. https://www.instagram.com/milkburger/?hl=en
I also recommend maybe taking a walk to Essex Market where you have a ton of great options to eat. I love this Argentine restaurant called Balvanera at 152 Stanton Street, Muglhai for great Indian at 6 Clinton Street. Also Lamia's Fish Market at 47 Avenue B.
All the previous options were close to NYTW. When it comes to the Shed, I liked an Argentine restaurant at 299 10th Ave. Not super inexpensive, but at least good quality.
