Revival cast of Hair to open production in London

Why do y'all care so much? Whoever transfers to London will transfer to London for reasons that are none of our business.
Sometimes the people on these boards are so ridiculous.
I'm definitely for Allison Case transferring, so the next time I see HAIR I don't have to watch her over-do everything and be annoyed.

Posted: 11/16/09 at 10:51amAllison Case does have a habit over over-emoting. She seems like a sweet person but I found it overbearing.

Diane Paulus has said that the "current Broadway company" will be the ones making the transfer.
The new tribe will debut March 9th.

Posted: 11/16/09 at 11:09amOh, Allison Case is a sweetheart! But, over-does it way too much.

I wonder, has the new tribe has already been cast?

Um okay?
No one is being ridiculous in questioning the entire cast transfer to London, as it is a pretty unusual situation. And it isn't unheard of for Broadway actors or actresses to turn down touring jobs or shows in other countries because of family. No one is saying the cast should or shouldn't transfer or declaring as an official reason that "so and so" isn't doing the show in London because of family.

millie_dillmount - I understand that completely. My comment was mainly aimed towards those that think it is unheard of for actors to travel for work due to family and things of that nature.
Why don't we all just wait and see what happens?

I think they want to bring the entire cast over because they are cohesive, have chemistry and travel in a pack.
The fact that the entire cast will do something like the Equality March together speaks volumes about their cohesiveness so it makes sense that the producers would want to take advantage of that in taking the show to London.
As for the new tribe, I feel like I had seen facebook statii a few weeks ago about people going to auditions for HAIR... I could be wrong though.

Oh, okay, in that case - I completely agree with you. But I think these people were simply mentioning that it is part of the business to travel for shows despite family.
