The LA Theaterworks complete recording was broadcast over public radio a number of years ago. Ashford's direction and cheography were awful. I know the piece well and have seen many productions. His choices were all wrong. Enough said and a real shame.

I have the LA Works complete performance on my ipod. Chip, Michael and Stephen sound great. As someone else mentioned, the women are not as strong. But its great to have the entire "broadway" score.

On a Wednesday matinee a couple of weeks ago, it was Warlord. Wonder if this is a matinee change. Seems crazy to do with everything else the same.

Remember the mailing piece says last chance to see on BROADWAY.
Could be the code for moving to OFF BROADWAY. I have not heard anything about this happening, so this is just my vision (or dream).

I have seen Kristin and the two understudies. Sarah Jane is the most appropriate in terms of type. I thought Megan did a very professional job last night and I really liked her singing. I prefer either actress to KC in this role and her absence was my deciding factor in attending last night.
