After the success of the movie of "Dreamgirls" there was some talk of reviving it on Broadway (perhaps with Jennifer Hudson.) Has anyone heard anythign about that?
I heard a rumor that "Follies" may be revived next season. Is there any news on that front?
What happened to the plan to revive "Stop the World -- I Want to Get Off"?
A few months ago, the Kennedy Center in DC did a very nice revival of "Carnival." I'd lvoe to see that prodcution on Broadway, but with the full "Love Makes the World Go Round", not the abbreviated version they did.
Any other revival news?

A couple of obscure shows I wouldn't mind seeing revived:
"Henry, Sweet Henry"
"Greasepaint"
These things have been discussed on the boards quite regularly to the point of nausea.
You're a bit thread-starting-happy.
I think the FOLLIES rumour is less of a rumour and more of a collective wish.
Well it was no secret that the Weisslers wanted to transfer FOLLIES.
But I don't know which producers want to transfer it now. People believe whoever they may be are waiting for Murphy to finish LOVEMUSIK and then will make plans.
I've heard from certain people (not name dropping to protect the innocent) that they intend to attempt to revive Follies, perhaps running it in the St. James once Grinch closes.
A DREAMGIRLS Revival was just a rumour, as was any mention of Jennifer Hudson reprising her Oscar winning role.
Miss Hudson has moved on and DREAMGIRLS was just her stepping stone. She has stated that she has since let Effie go, so it's slim to never that she would be playing Effie again in this lifetime, but again...never say never.
