Posted: 4/1/08 at 6:28pmI thought the original production was much cooler - full set, costumes, lighting, the works, and yes...that great cast! The revival with its bareboned "jury box"set may have been innovative, but, sorry, just not as much fun visually - though again a great cast. And in terms of its run...a much bigger hit.

Kander and Ebb musicals seem to have more success now than when they first opened ... I think they have more relevance or can be more accepted for today.
