I'm going thru an obsession with the show right now! Ha!
Ass sins is so good! Caught the tail end once.

Carnival (but the original production so depended on Gower Champion's staging == I didn't see it because I wasn't even born yet but I've read about it == it would take a brilliant director and choreographer to make it work)
The Rothschilds (another show I didn't see but it has a lovely score) but it would need a STAR actor in the lead.
Toys in the Attic (with Holly Hunter, Amanda Plummer, Michael C. Hall, Lily Rabe, Harry Lennix and Patricia Clarkson)

The Book of Mormon
Wicked
Phantom of the Opera
Wicked
Once
Evita
Nice Work If You Can Get It
Wicked
It'll be long time be4 most of those are revived on broadway or on off broadway.
I think that ass sins's ending could be a happy ending if a firm grasp is taken of the piece.
I dun no. I can turn the other cheek when it comes 2 stuff like that.

Why hasn't anyone suggested revivals of A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE and CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF with all-black casts?
I would love to see Annie on Broadway again.
Also, I think a revival of Kinky Boots would be good.
Look Homeward Angel (Pulitzer prize winner and Drama Critics Circle award winner in 1958, never had a Broadway revival)
Anyone Can Whistle (Encores cast, Sutton, Donna and Raul, and production, totally brilliant)
Carnival (it keeps circling in all major theatre cities, several workshop productions in New York years ago, but no producers willing to take a chance, and while Anne Hathaway was the draw at Encores, she wasn't quite up to it vocally, who would be? but it is a great family show, so much better than another tired revival of Annie or The Sound of Music)
Sunday in the Park (new production in Chicago with Jason Danieley sounds very promising, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre does the best Sondheim, FOLLIES and PACIFIC OVERTURES were better than the most NY revivals)
I'd like a revival of the Cabaret revival's revival.
